Personal Recycling
At Timbron International, we are committed to
helping you recycle your polystyrene locally to be used in our manufacturing plant in Stockton. We recycle this polystyrene into quality green building materials.
How to Recycle PS:
Polystyrene is identified by its specific recycling symbol:
Wiie We currently accept white Expanded Polystyrene (Styrofoam™) and any white container labeled #6 that is CLEAN.
Before you drop off or send your polystyrene to Timbron International, please follow these simple EPS recycling guidelines:
- Drop off only Expanded Polystyrene that is clean, dry and uncontaminated with other materials.
- Remove any foreign materials such as tape, stickers, labels, paint and cardboard.
- Contain the EPS in a bag, bundle or box for easy loading and unloading.
- Make sure the material is actually EPS – look for the #6 symbol.
- If you are an individual resident trying to do something good for the environment, make the most of your visit to Timbron; collect EPS from neighbors to ensure their waste is being properly recycled.
- Block foam is accepted free of charge from residents.
We do not accept:
- Dirty food containers, meat trays, disposable cups, etc.
- Packing peanuts – (accepted at packaging stores)
- Bubble Wrap – (accepted at packaging stores)
